Not every post is about likes. When you share a link - a product, an article, a signup page - the number you care about is clicks. This service adds link clicks to a post: visits to the URL in your post, counted in the post's analytics and in your website's own stats.

Be clear on what clicks do

Link clicks aren't shown publicly on X - only you see them, in the post's analytics. So unlike likes or reposts, clicks don't change how the post looks to readers. And these clicks aren't customers: don't expect them to buy, sign up or read to the end. What they do is raise the click count in your analytics and send visits to the page. If you're after sales, real traffic from a strong post or a paid campaign is what converts.

That makes this a niche service. It's useful when you want a post's link metrics to show activity - for example, in reports - rather than as a way to find buyers.

Before you order

• The post must contain a link - clicks go to that URL.
• Keep the post up and the link working until delivery finishes.
• Expect short visits in your site analytics; they'll show high bounce rates and won't convert.

Getting real clicks

Posts with a clear reason to click do best: tell people what they'll get ("the full 12-page report", "the checklist we use"), put the key point in the post itself, and add an image so the post stands out. A thread that ends with the link often gets more clicks than a post that's just a link.

Want the post to look popular?

Because clicks aren't public, they won't change what readers see. For visible activity on a link post, impressions and likes are the better choice.

How many clicks to order

Link clicks show up in the post's analytics, where they sit next to impressions and engagement. On real posts, only a small share of the people who see a post click its link. A post with 2,000 impressions and 1,500 link clicks looks unusual in a report. As a rough guide, keep clicks to a few percent of the post's impressions, and add impressions if the post has few.

• A few thousand followers: 100 to 500 clicks.
• Larger accounts and campaigns: scale in line with impressions.

Make the link worth clicking

Real clicks come from posts that give readers a clear reason to visit. Say what they will get on the other side: the answer, the discount, the full story or the free download. Put the most important words before the link, use an image or a link card that shows what the page is, and make sure the page loads fast on a phone. A post that promises something specific gets more real clicks than one that only says "link below".

A worked example

A newsletter writer shares each week's issue on X with a one-line summary and a link. For a special issue they are proud of, they order 250 clicks ($9 with the 10% package discount) and 2,000 impressions for the post. The post's analytics show a healthy click-through, which they include in a media kit for sponsors, and real readers who see the post click through to subscribe.

Clicks are not sales

Ordered clicks arrive at the link in the post; they do not sign up, buy or read. Use them to make a post's numbers look the way a well-performing link post would, and to give your report a stronger starting figure. For real results on the page, focus on what the page offers and how quickly it loads.

Check the destination

Before you order, open the link in the post on a phone and on a computer. Make sure it goes to the right page, loads quickly and does not redirect through several steps. If you use a link shortener or tracking parameters, test that they work. Clicks are delivered to the link in the post, so a broken or slow page wastes them.
