How replies show on Threads
On Threads, replies to a post appear in a thread below it, and the reply count sits next to likes and reposts. Replies can themselves be liked, replied to and reposted, so an active thread becomes a conversation people browse. You can also choose who is allowed to reply: anyone, profiles you follow, or only people you mention.
Check your reply settings first
If your post is set so only people you follow or mention can reply, comments from anyone else cannot be added. Before claiming, open the post's settings and make sure replies are open to everyone. Your profile also needs to be public.
