What a chatter is
A chatter is an account that sends messages in your stream's chat while you are live. Kick's chat runs next to the player, and a moving chat is one of the first things a new viewer notices. It gives you something to react to on stream and shows visitors that people are not just watching but taking part.
Chat settings that affect delivery
Kick lets you limit chat to followers, subscribers or accounts that have followed for a minimum time, and to slow messages down with a slow mode. If these are turned on, chatters may be blocked from posting. Before claiming, check your chat settings in the creator dashboard, and keep emote-only mode off.
How to claim
Enter your Kick channel link and an email address, then the six-digit code we send. We never need your Kick login. Claim when you are live or about to go live, because chatters only work during a broadcast. The trial is one claim per account; paid chatters are available on the Kick chatters page.
Why chat matters on Kick
A stream is a conversation as much as a broadcast. New viewers who land on a stream with a silent chat often leave within seconds, while a moving chat makes a stream feel like somewhere worth staying. Chat activity also gives you something to react to on stream.
Making the most of the free trial
Chatters work while you are live, so claim the trial when your stream is running or about to start. Talk to chat and respond to messages, since that is what turns new viewers into regulars. For future streams, Kick chatters are available, alongside views and followers.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be live?
Yes. Chatters send messages during a live stream, so claim when you are streaming or about to.
Why are no messages appearing?
Check whether chat is limited to followers or subscribers, or set to emote-only. Open it to everyone during delivery.
Can I choose the messages?
The trial uses general chat messages. Respond to them on stream to start real conversations.
Can I claim twice?
No, it is one claim per account and email.
Do you need my Kick password?
No. Only your channel link and an email address.

“As an agency we are picky about what we put in front of clients. This delivers — real growth, straight answers, support that turns up.”
