Keep shares believable

Shares are usually fewer than likes. A video with 3,000 likes and a few hundred shares looks natural; one with 40 likes and 2,000 shares doesn't. Pair shares with views and likes if the video is new.

Earning shares naturally

The simplest trick is to give viewers someone to send it to: "Tag the friend who does this", "Send this to your group chat". Videos that make the sharer look funny or helpful get shared most.
