How a post travels on Threads

Likes show that people enjoyed a post. Reposts put it in front of new people: when someone reposts, your post appears to their followers, many of whom have never seen your profile. On Threads, reposts are the main way a post reaches beyond the people who already follow you.

Reposts push your Threads post onto new feeds and drive real reach.

Which posts to repost

• Announcements and launches, where reach is the whole point.
• Opinions and takes designed to spark discussion beyond your own circle.
• Posts that link out, such as to a product, video or article, where every new viewer is a potential click.

Make the post ready to spread

When a post reaches new people through reposts, they judge it in a second. A post with likes and replies looks worth reading. Add Threads likes and a few comments to the same post, and grow followers so the readers who like what they see have a reason to follow you.

Order early

Posts get most of their reach in the first hours. Order reposts as soon as the post is live.

What to expect

Reposts are $3 for 25 and are delivered in 1–2 days. You only share the post link. We never ask for your Instagram or Threads password.

Price and delivery

Threads reposts are $3 for 25, worldwide, delivered in one to two days. Larger orders are multiples of 25, with a package discount that grows with the order: 5% off two or three packs, 10% off four or five, and 15% off ten or twenty.

Which link to use

Open the post on Threads, tap the share icon and copy the link. Post links look like threads.net/@yourname/post/… Use the link to the post you want reposted, not your profile. Each order goes to one post.

How many reposts look natural

Reposts are rarer than likes. On most posts, only a small share of the people who like a post also repost it. As a rough guide:

• Posts with under 100 likes: 25 reposts.
• Posts with a few hundred likes: 25 to 75 reposts.
• Posts that are doing very well: scale with the like count, keeping reposts the smaller number.

If the post has few likes yet, add likes first or in the same go, so the reposts sit next to a post that looks well received.

What makes people repost

• A clear opinion or insight that readers agree with and want their followers to see.
• Useful information: tips, lists, resources and answers.
• News and announcements that matter to a community.
• Humour that works without context.

Posts that make sense to someone who has never seen your profile travel furthest.

Reposts, likes and replies

Likes show a post landed. Replies show it started a conversation. Reposts show it was passed on. On Threads, a post that has all three looks like one worth reading, and it gives the post a better chance of reaching people beyond your followers. On posts that matter, combine reposts with likes and a few replies, then answer the replies yourself.

A worked example

A small skincare brand posts a short thread busting three common myths about sunscreen. Within minutes of posting, it orders 100 likes and 50 reposts ($5.70 with the 5% package discount). The post appears on more profiles and feeds, real readers add their own reposts and replies, and the brand answers questions in the replies for the rest of the day.

Post timing

Like every feed, Threads gives new posts their best chance in the first hours. Post when your audience is online, order reposts soon after publishing and reply to early comments. A post that starts strong is more likely to keep picking up real reposts.

Before you order

• Check your profile is public.
• Copy the post link from the share icon.
• Make sure the post is final; editing after reposts can confuse readers.
• Order soon after posting, alongside likes, when the post is still new.

Threads and the fediverse

Threads can share posts with other networks in the fediverse, such as Mastodon, if you turn on that setting. Reposts ordered here are reposts on Threads itself. If you share to the fediverse too, your post can reach readers there as well, which is a bonus for posts that travel well.

Reposts for brands and creators

For brands, a reposted post is one that customers and fans thought worth showing to their own followers, which is the kind of word of mouth that advertising cannot buy directly. For creators, reposts are often how a post reaches the first readers outside their usual audience. In both cases, reposts work best on posts with a clear point, a little personality and something readers can agree with or learn from. Promotional posts that read like adverts are rarely reposted by real readers, so save reposts for posts that give something to the reader.

The same goes for timing: post when your readers are awake and scrolling, and stay around to answer replies in the first hour or two after posting, when the post is moving fastest in feeds.
