What Reddit post views show

Reddit counts how many people have viewed a post, and that view count is one of the clearest signs of whether a post is getting attention. A post that has been up for hours with a few dozen views looks like it never got seen. A higher view count makes a post look like it is getting attention, and that attention draws more people in to actually read it.

Views raise that count, giving your post the look of something people are already reading.

What views do and do not do

Views make a post look seen. They do not, on their own, move a post up a subreddit; that is what upvotes do. For a post you want to climb into Hot or Rising, order upvotes first and add views alongside them. For a post that needs to look like it sparked a discussion, add comments.

When views help most

• Posts you share outside Reddit, where a high view count makes the link look worth clicking.
• Posts in your own subreddit, so the community looks active.
• Promotional posts for a product, video or article, where more apparent readers builds trust.

Order early

Reddit posts get most of their attention in the first day. Order views soon after posting, while the post is still fresh in the feed.

What to expect

Views start at $3 for 100 and are delivered in 1–2 days. You only need the post link. We never ask for your Reddit password.

Price and delivery

Reddit views are $3 for 100, worldwide, delivered over one to two days. Bigger orders are multiples of 100, with a package discount that grows with the order: 5% off two or three packs, 10% off four or five, and 15% off ten or twenty.

Where you see post views

Reddit shows a post's views and other statistics in its insights, which you open from the post on the app or website. Insights also show upvote ratio, shares and how many people saw the post in their feed. If you report Reddit results to a client or a team, the view figure there is the one people will ask about.

How many views to order

Match the views to the size of the community and the post's score. In a small subreddit, a post with a few dozen upvotes might be viewed by a few thousand people. In a large one, a popular post can be viewed by hundreds of thousands. As a rough guide:

• Small subreddits: 500 to 2,000 views.
• Mid-sized subreddits: 2,000 to 10,000 views.
• Large subreddits: views help most alongside upvotes, which decide how many people actually see the post.

Views, upvotes and comments

Each number does a different job. Upvotes decide where a post sits in the subreddit. Comments make it look discussed. Views make it look widely read. On a post that matters, combine them in proportion: real posts are viewed by many more people than vote or comment on them, so a large view count with a modest score looks normal.

Posts that suit views

• Your own subreddit's announcements, so the community looks active.
• Profile posts that you share with followers.
• Posts you link to from elsewhere, such as a newsletter, where a strong view figure makes the post look worth reading.
• Client campaigns, where a view figure is part of what you report.

A worked example

A small software company runs its own subreddit for product updates. Each time it posts release notes, it orders 1,000 views ($25.50 with the 15% package discount) and pins the post. Customers who open the subreddit see that updates are read, and the company's monthly report to its investors includes the view figures from the post insights.

Follow the community's rules

Views do not protect a post from moderators. If a post breaks a subreddit's rules, it can be removed. Read the sidebar rules before posting, especially in communities with strict rules on links and self-promotion.
