Followers make a Kick channel worth checking out

On Kick, your follower count is the first read a viewer gets on whether a channel is worth their time. Someone browsing streams is far more likely to stick around on a channel with a real following than one that looks brand-new. Followers also get notified when you go live, which helps build the audience that shows up for your streams, and a channel that already looks established has an easier time growing.

Why it matters more for new streamers

Kick lists live channels by how many people are watching, so a new streamer starts at the bottom of a long list. When a viewer does click through, a channel with a few hundred followers looks like somewhere worth staying; one with a dozen looks like an experiment. Followers help bridge that gap between your first streams and a real audience.

Build followers before you go live

Followers do their best work ahead of a stream. Grow your count in the days before a scheduled stream, so the channel looks established when viewers arrive and more people are notified when you go live. During the stream itself, Kick views and chatters make the channel look active to everyone browsing.

Grow in steady steps

A channel that jumps from 20 to 5,000 followers overnight looks odd next to its viewer numbers. Several smaller orders spread over your first weeks of streaming look like natural growth and keep your follower count in line with your audience. Followers start at $3 for 25.

How it works

Paste your Kick channel link and pick a package. Followers are added over two to three days.

No password needed

Only your public channel link, never your login.

Price and delivery

Kick followers are $3 for 25, worldwide, delivered over two to three days. Larger orders are multiples of 25, with a package discount that grows with the order: 5% off two or three packs, 10% off four or five, and 15% off ten or twenty.

How many followers to order

For a new channel, a first order of 100 to 250 followers takes the count past the empty stage. If you stream regularly and already have a few dozen real viewers, you can go further. Spread larger totals over several orders and weeks, so the follower count grows alongside your stream history.

Set up your channel page

• Profile picture and banner that match your other platforms, so viewers recognise you.
• An About section with your schedule, the games or topics you stream and your socials.
• Panels and links to your Discord, YouTube or X, so followers can find you between streams.
• A clear stream title and category each time you go live.

Moving from Twitch or YouTube

Many Kick streamers arrive with an audience on another platform. When you announce a move, your viewers click through to a channel that should look ready for them. Adding followers before the announcement means they arrive at a channel that already has a following, which makes the switch look like a step up rather than a fresh start.

Followers and live viewers

Followers are the long-term number on your channel page. Live viewers are the number while you are streaming, and they decide where you appear in the browse page. Many streamers combine both: followers ahead of time, then views or chatters during the streams that matter most.

Before you order

• Copy your channel link from your browser: kick.com/yourname.
• Check the username is spelled exactly as on Kick.
• Leave the channel as it is until delivery finishes. Renaming it mid-order can stop the followers arriving.
• Make sure the channel is not banned or restricted, since followers cannot be added to an unavailable channel.

A worked example

A streamer who plays strategy games moves from Twitch to Kick. Before tweeting the switch, they order 250 followers ($25.50 with the 15% package discount), copy their schedule and panels across, and set up a Discord link. Followers who arrive from the announcement see an established channel, and the streamer's first Kick broadcasts start with an audience that can be notified.

Stream consistently

Followers get notifications when you go live, so a consistent schedule turns those notifications into habits. Streaming at the same times each week makes it easy for real followers to come back, and a channel that streams regularly looks more trustworthy to new visitors than one that goes quiet for weeks.
