How to Get 3X More Retweets
1. Tweet more
The first tip is one that some people may disagree with: tweet more.
Tweeting more times per day gives your tweets more exposure and will get you more retweets.
The problem with Twitter today is that it’s just too noisy. Imagine 500 million tweets sent out on a single day. How can your one tweet stand out? Your tweets won’t be able to get enough exposure.
Tweeting more times per day definitely helps, which may seem obvious – more tweets equals more retweets. But the data says that when you tweet more, your engagement doesn’t go just go up, it goes up exponentially! Basically, instead of getting 10 times as much engagement if you tweet 10 times as much, it’s more like you’ll get 30 times more engagement if you tweet 10 times as much!
2. Follow more people
If you want more retweets, you need to follow new people on Twitter.
Here’s the thing, not everyone in Twitter will be active. Some fall out after a few days or months or years. You need to keep refreshing your list with new people.
Following more people can get you more retweets. Here’s why
• You’re always getting new people following you.
• They will look at your profile
• It exposes your tweets to more people
3. Write awesome tweets
You can’t get more retweets if you’re not writing awesome tweets. It’s that simple.
There are so many tips I can give you on crafting the best tweets. Some examples are:
• Leave space for others to retweet
• Ask for tweets (e.g. Retweet this!)
• Don’t talk at people. Talk to them
• Keep a fun and conversational tone in your tweets
• Don’t be overly formal
• Visual, visual, visual
4. Trade retweets
Here’s a method you seldom hear people mention or share. It’s pretty secretive in the industry.

What many of you don’t know is that there are many secret groups created for the sole purpose of retweeting each other’s tweets.
The rules are simple. Everyone can share one tweet a day and everyone else has to retweet them.
Unfortunately, these groups aren’t open to the public and finding one can be a challenge.
The good news is you can create your group and invite other people with the same followers, influencer and industry as you to join. It’s win-win for everyone and joining it is a no-brainer.

One of my favorite ways to get more retweets and clicks is by pinning them.
Without a doubt, this small change has made one of the biggest impact on my Twitter marketing.
The best part about this method is that it only takes a few seconds and will help the retweets and clicks to keep coming in. You don’t have to do anything else.
The reason why this method works is that when other people check your profile, the first thing they will see is the tweet that you’ve pinned. In the last month alone, I got over 16,000 people viewing my profile. Imagine the exposure!
