Tips To Get More Facebook Custom Comments | SMMSUMO

1. The Nostalgic Picture.

This is the comment you post on a picture that everyone else commented on at least six months ago. Typically, this comment is just blatant proof that you’ve been doing some facebook stalking.

2. Keep It Short and Sweet.

For the most part, you want to keep your posts short and sweet. People rarely have the attention span to read long, text-heavy posts. That being said, very long posts from time to time can spark conversations and debates that lead to higher engagement and sharing.
On a daily basis, stick to short comments, but don’t be afraid to post a long comment every now and then. These longer comments can help get a more meaningful conversation started. Choose your topic wisely and try to encourage friendly debate and discussion.

3. Timing is Everything.

Afternoons and evenings are the best time to post. In the mornings, when young people are at school and the rest of us are just settling into our work day, we’re less likely to be scanning our Facebook feeds. As the day progresses and the post-lunch fatigue sinks it, people are more likely to start engaging with Facebook. After 5 pm, things really pick up – this is Prime Time on Facebook too!
And don’t forget to post on weekends! Lots of users out there are glued to their screens on the weekends and have plenty of time on their days off to read your posts, respond with comments, share and like. (For this reason, the weekend is an ideal time to post something a little longer…)

4. Funny Picture

This picture is the perfect venue to demonstrate to the entire facebook community how clever and witty you are. Whether you’re referencing another golden moment, or commenting on how it’s the best they ever looked, this picture is a commenter’s moment to shine.

5.The Unflattering Picture

It’s only funny when it’s someone else. Untag and pretend it doesn’t exist. The more you comment the more it shows up on news feeds.
Commenting is a key aspect of the photo experience, whatever message they’re sending. But for those of us too lazy to come up with witticisms, there’s always the like button

6. Pace Your Posts

Don’t clog other people’s feeds. If I post too much — twice a day is my limit — I notice a downturn in LSCs. Space your posts so they’re coming every three or four days. That’s enough so people know you’re in the community but not so much that you’re annoying. Occasionally, I’ll go a couple weeks without posting. When I’m back — usually with a worthy photo or link — the Facebook love goes through the roof.

7. The Backhanded Comment

This is the one that seems nice the first time you read it, and then you realize – – it’s really not. It’s the comment that says “Great angle!” or “Wow, this picture makes you look great,” it’s the comment version of saying you don’t normally look like this, clearly this picture is false advertisement (a screenshot of this type of comment appears in the teaser spot on the home page)

8. The Conversation Comment

It’s the conversation that probably shouldn’t even be on a facebook wall, but definitely should not be on a picture. For future reference a picture is not the proper place to ask “do you want to hang out later today?
